This special-edition, 7-inch vinyl single, is a recording of a song written by Beck for his Songbook album. At the time he released the album – or published it, really - Beck had not recorded any of the songs himself, and America, Here’s My Boy was one of the first to hit airwaves and record decks.

The B-side is the evergreen Loneliness [Won’t Leave me Alone] featuring the magic harp playing of Paul Jones, a song which remains a live favourite.
